What is sound therapy?
Sound therapy uses intentional tones, vibration, rhythm, breath, and stillness to support relaxation and present moment awareness. During a sound bath, guests rest comfortably while crystal singing bowls create layers of tone throughout the space.
There is nothing to perform, perfect, or figure out. Your only job is to receive the experience.

What sound may support
Every experience is personal. These are supportive possibilities, not guaranteed medical outcomes.

Creates space to slow down and settle.
Mental clarity
Offers the mind a steady point of focus.
Rest readiness
Supports an intentional wind-down ritual.
Recovery
Helps mark the shift from output to rest.
Emotional awareness
Makes room to notice what is present.
Screen-free stillness
Provides a pause from constant stimulation.
Credibility Note
Research on music-based interventions suggests possible benefits for stress, anxiety, pain, and sleep, but findings vary. Alexandria Grace Sound experiences are complementary wellness services and are not medical or mental health treatment.
05 / BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
What to know before your first session.
A few practical things that help you settle in more easily.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, loose clothing. You will be lying still for the duration of the session, so layers are helpful — the body temperature can drop during deep rest.
Do I need to bring anything?
Mats, blankets, and eye pillows are provided. You are welcome to bring your own if you prefer familiar items. A water bottle is always a good idea.
Can I fall asleep?
Yes. Sleep is a valid form of receiving the experience. Many guests drift in and out, and that is perfectly fine.
What if I have to leave early?
Please let us know in advance if possible. If you need to slip out quietly during the session, that is always okay — just position yourself near the exit when you arrive.
Is there anything I should avoid beforehand?
Avoid a heavy meal in the hour before the session. Arriving a few minutes early allows you to settle in without rushing.
Safety Note
Sound therapy is a complementary wellness practice and is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment. If you have a history of epilepsy, auditory sensitivity, or are in an acute mental health crisis, please consult your provider before attending.
THE GRACE RESET
See your reset. Not just feel it.
A guided sound recovery experience that gives you a clear starting point — and helps you recognize what shifted before you leave.
ALREADY BOOKED?
Begin your session with intention.
Complete your private 60-second check-in before arriving. You’ll return to the same reflection immediately after your session.
A wellness reflection — not a medical assessment.
04 / MYTH VS. REALITY
Let us clear up a few things.
| MYTH | REALITY |
|---|---|
| You have to be spiritual. | No special belief is required. |
| You must completely clear your mind. | Thoughts can continue. Gently return your attention to the sound. |
| Everyone has a dramatic emotional release. | You may feel relaxed, emotional, energized, sleepy, or simply present. |
| There is one correct way to experience it. | There is no perfect response. Your experience is allowed to be your own. |
